My name is Joe Schaufele, inventor of Hitch Hikers. I began work on Hitch Hikers in 2018 and reached out to several companies for support, eventually partnering with Invent Help. This collaboration led to securing a US Patent and obtaining market analysis reports. However, the partnership did not continue further. In 2023, I resumed efforts to develop Hitch Hikers by obtaining cost estimates for prototyping, marketing, and production. Many companies required substantial financial commitments that exceeded my budget. Later, I found Michael & Hope via LinkedIn and contacted them regarding prototyping costs. We arranged a video meeting where they outlined their company, Go Vertical ICM, and the processes and programs they offer for inventors. Based on previous experiences, I approached this opportunity cautiously. Go Vertical ICM presented a structured plan designed to assist inventors in building a foundation for product development, which differed from the prototype-focused approach of other companies. After learning about Go Vertical ICM’s business plan tailored to my project, I decided to proceed with their services. As of now, a Hitch Hiker prototype is in development, and the business plan provided by Go Vertical ICM aligns with both my objectives and budget. Throughout this process, Go Vertical ICM has offered guidance and participated in ongoing collaboration. For inventors seeking direction, Go Vertical ICM offers more than prototyping; they provide support for broader project development.

I have been working with Michael and Hope for about 3 years now and what I have learned mostly is thinking outside the box plus having patience and trusting the process. Even when there is frustration with the process, Hope will go above and beyond with explaining the steps to make them as clear as possible so you are comfortable moving forward. I have come to respect their ideas and suggestions and also value the commitment of Michael and Hope and their team to making my patent idea a success.
